This series has a higher current handling capacity than the standard heavy duty HD ranges. By use of very low electrical resistance construction and a large internal contacting area, current flows of up to 80 amps can be passed. The probe presses firmly into the probe plate using a knurled area. An optional receptacle is available should the item need to be replaceable.
Electrical connection to the tail is by the supplied ring terminal, soldering direct into the PCB, or soldering into the threaded tail.
