'The Swift-Dock brand is the industry standard in 'off the shelf', spring loaded docking connectors. Launched in 2013, Swift-Dock connectors are now used in many diverse OEM products all over the world. We have, over the years, developed and grown the range into what you can see below.
Founded by Colin Davis in 1980, Coda Systems is still a family owned and run business.'
Swift-Dock is generally used in pairs. The spring loaded side compresses against the solid land side to make the electrical connection (please watch the video) though each side is available seperately.

Swift-Dock - standard size with 7mm pitch.
Swift-Dock-micro - miniature size with 2.2mm pitch.
Swift-Dock-mini - physically smaller than standard Swift-Dock with 3mm pitch.
Swift-Dock-Power - same 7mm pitch as standard Swift-Dock and has been designed for use in applications up to 10 amps.
Swift-Dock-Ultra-Power - large 10mm pitch and has been designed for use in applications up to 12 amps
Swift-Dock-Data - designed specifically for data connections with 7, 8, 9 and 12 pin configuations.

With a minimum center spacing of just 2.2mm, it is specifically designed for internal battery charging of wearable applications such as headsets, belt worn devices, bodycams, ankle tags and smart watches for safety, sporting, security and leisure applications.

Our high current version of our standard 7mm spring loaded docking connector.
A different design of spring contact allows the connector to pass loads of up to 10 amps. Please note that the tail of the spring contact moves backwards when compressed.
Available in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 pin configuration they are ideal for battery charging and power transfer applications for current loads up to 10 amps.
Each connector can be populated with a mixture of high current and standard spring contacts. Please contact us to quote for your specific configuration.

We are pleased to announce that the Swift-Dock-Ultra series is being used by Skyward Experimental Rocketry, an association of students and engineers in Milan who design, assemble and launch experimental sounding rockets. Skyward are European champions at the EuRoC (European Rocketry Challenge) organised by ESA and the Portuguese Space Agency. The Swift-Dock-Ultra series will be used to improve the connections between their rockets compartments and ground systems.
