Both the PA0 'R' and PM3 ‘R’ series use a receptacle, giving the added advantage of probe replaceability, yet still allowing testing at a minimum spacing of 0.64mm. The receptacle may have the convenient option of a pre-attached cable.

Installation
The replaceable microprobes feature a receptacle with a collar at the top of the barrel, which is used as a stop in the fitment process. Due to the minute barrel diameters and thin walls, it is imperative that the drilled hole diameter (0.52mm – 0.55mm) and straightness are very accurate.
